Cavalheiro Química cross linking copolymers thermogravimetry (TG) differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) Copolymers of methyl methacrylate (MMA) and triethyleneglycoldimethacrylate (TEGDMA) obtained by photoinitiated polymerization using Fe(III)complexes were submitted to thermogravimetry (TGA) under dynamic air atmosphereand N2, and differential scanning calorimetric analysis (DSC). Thermal events wereobserved only between 90 - 110 °C. Glass transitions were observed at ca. 100 °C,followed by an exothermic peak at 170 °C. The exothermic peak was assigned to athermal curing process due to the presence of unreacted vinyl groups of the monomers.DSC revealed to be a useful tool to evaluate the curing completeness in this kind ofmaterial, using small amounts of sample in relatively short time. 2007 artículo científico 0100-4670 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=42932306 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=429 Eclética Química application/pdf Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho Eclética Química (Brasil) Num.3 Vol.32
