Usual culturemedia and methods were used to study bacteria and fungiorganisms. To study for microsporidian parasites, nine mlwere centrifuged and smears of the sediment were fixed, previoustratment with 5% KOH and then stained according toa modified Weber method.Groups of Microsporidia spores were foud in twenty five percent of the samples, coming more frenquently from peoplebetween 26 to 55 five years old .Since these parasites cause important diseases, especially inimmunosuppressed human beings, but also in immunocompetentpersons, it is necessary to improve the methods for abetter diagnosis of this parasitosis.
