  • Care for Pregnant Diabetics in Cuba: Achievements and Challenges Jeddú Cruz Antonio Márquez Jacinto Lang Lemay Valdés Medicina preg high Cuba induced diabetes Establishment, progressive development, expansion and orga-nization of Cubas National Comprehensive Diabetes and Preg-nancy Program is described, including changes in related health services since 1959. Currently implemented throughout the coun-try, the Program is supervised by a working group and addresses diabetic womens reproductive health and care during pregnancy.
