The methodology used was quantitative and the data were analyzed by structural equation modeling. The results obtained from a sample made up of 213 university students confirmed three hypotheses raised for research: the precautions taken in the domestic environment and mobilizing attitudes towards environmental positively influence more engaged consumption, and an engaged consumer has a greater intention of consuming organic products. Thus, the present study provides relevant information on the behavior of individuals in this market. 2020 artículo científico 1982-2596 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=441763703003 https://www.redalyc.org/journal/4417/441763703003/ https://www.redalyc.org/journal/4417/441763703003/html/ https://www.redalyc.org/journal/4417/441763703003/441763703003.epub https://www.redalyc.org/journal/4417/441763703003/movil https://doi.org/10.12712/rpca.v14i2.42212 es http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=4417 Revista Pensamento Contemporâneo em Administração application/pdf Universidade Federal Fluminense Revista Pensamento Contemporâneo em Administração (Brasil) Num.2 Vol.14
