The material was collected between 14/27-VII-2009 in Uzbekistan, and 29-IV / 18-V-2008 in southwestern Kazakhstan. Six new species are described: Scythris cramella Nupponen, sp. n., S. deserticola Nupponen, sp. n., S. karvoneni Nupponen, sp. n., S. reticulella Nupponen, sp. n., S. rotundella Nupponen, sp. n. and S. semifascia Nupponen, sp. n. The previously unknown females of Scythris angustella Nupponen, 2009, S. deresella Falkovitsh, 1969, S. falkovitshi Nupponen, 2009 and S. obliqua Falkovitsh, 1969 are described. Three species are reported as new to Uzbekistan, two as new to Kazakhstan and two as new to Tajikistan.
