This article aims to characterize two additional species. Rhodochlora rufaria Warren, 1909 is a well-characterized species ranging from Peru to Venezuela. Rhodochlora elias Viidalepp, sp. nov. has similar wing markings to R. rufaria but differs in the shape of the lateral appendages of the uncus and has an eastern distribution in South America.
