Individual and family resilience and the role of support networks for victims of traffic accidents: an integrative review

PsycInfo, PubMed, Web of Science, and SciELO were used as sources for data with the descriptors: resilience; traffic-accidents; support networks and family resilience. 12 articles were found as a result of the process of reviewing. The findings demonstrate a scarcity of studies that simultaneously relate resilience, traffic accidents, support networks and family resilience. Also, the majority of research on traffic accidents is focused on prevention.
