contents Percolation of Monte Carlo Clusters G. Krein W.G. Wanzeller A. Cucchieri T. Mendes Física, Astronomía y Matemáticas Percolation theory is of interest in problems of phase transitions in condensed matter physics, and in biology andchemistry. More recently, concepts of percolation theory have been invoked in studies of color deconfinementat high temperatures in Quantum Chromodynamics. In the present paper we briefly review the basic conceptof percolation theory, exemplify its application to the Ising model, and present the arguments for a possiblerelevance of percolation theory to the problem of color deconfinement. 2004 artículo científico 0103-9733 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=46400119 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=464 Brazilian Journal of Physics application/pdf Sociedade Brasileira de Física Brazilian Journal of Physics (Brasil) Num.1A Vol.34
