Ferreira Física, Astronomía y Matemáticas Polymers Synchrotron radiation Photon stimulated ion desorption (PSID) Photon stimulated ion desorption (PSID) studies have been performed in poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) andpoly(vinylidene chloride) (PVDC) using synchrotron radiation, covering from valence to core electron (Cl 2pand C 1s) energy ranges. Data acquisition was performed at the TGM beam line from the Brazilian SynchrotronLight Source (LNLS), operating in a multi-bunch mode and using a time-of-flight mass spectrometer (TOFMS).A new pulsed system developed uses as a trigger for the TOF-MS experiments the pulsed extraction highvoltage applied to the sample. Ionic desorption from PVC and PVDC shows strong selectivity in the formationof chlorine ions around the Cl 2p-edge while very similar fragmentation patterns are observed for the otherenergies studied. 2006 artículo científico 0103-9733 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=46403610 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=464 Brazilian Journal of Physics application/pdf Sociedade Brasileira de Física Brazilian Journal of Physics (Brasil) Num.2B Vol.36 |
