contents Theoretical prediction of the fractional ac Josephson effect in p- and d-wave superconductors Hyok-Jon Kwon K. Sengupta Victor M. Yakovenko Física, Astronomía y Matemáticas For certain orientations of Josephson junctions between two p x-wave or two d-wave superconductors, the subgap Andreev states produce a 4pi-periodic relation between the Josephson current I and the phase difference Á: I / sin(Á=2) Consequently, the ac Josephson current has the fractional frequency eV=~, where V is the dc voltage. In the tunneling limit, the Josephson current is proportional to the first power (not square) of the electron tunneling amplitude. Thus, the Josephson current is carried by single electrons, rather than by Cooper pairs. 2003 artículo científico 0103-9733 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=46413573002 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=464 Brazilian Journal of Physics application/pdf Sociedade Brasileira de Física Brazilian Journal of Physics (Brasil) Num.4 Vol.33
