- On the Static Properties of Baryons in the Skyrme Model O.L. Battistel Física, Astronomía y Matemáticas We use a modified version of the Skyrme model in which the stabilizing fourth-order term is separated intwo parts with different parameters that are introduced in the Lagrangian and could vary independently. Thepredictions for the static properties of baryons are calculated and results are compared with the respectiveexperimental values and those of other authors.
