contents A Formalism forWeak Interactions in Nuclei A. Samana F. Krmpotić A. Mariano Física, Astronomía y Matemáticas The neutrino-nucleus cross-section and the muon capture rate are discussed within a simple formalism whichfacilitates the nuclear structure calculations. The corresponding formulae only depend on four types of nuclearmatrix elements, which are currently used in the nuclear beta decay. We have also considered the non-localityeffects arising from the velocity-dependent terms in the hadronic current. We show that for both observablesin 12C the higher order relativistic corrections are of the order of » 4% only, and therefore do not play asignificant role. 2004 artículo científico 0103-9733 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=46434540 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=464 Brazilian Journal of Physics application/pdf Sociedade Brasileira de Física Brazilian Journal of Physics (Brasil) Num.3A Vol.34
