contents Spin-1 Particle in the Light-Front Approach T. Frederico J. P. B. C. de Melo Física, Astronomía y Matemáticas The electromagnetic current of spin-1 composite particles does not transform properly under rotations if onlythe valence contribution is considered in the light-front model. In particular, the plus component of the current, evaluated only for the valence component of the wave function, in the Drell-Yan frame violates rotationalsymmetry, which does not allow a unique calculation of the electromagnetic form-factors. The prescriptionsuggested by Grach and Kondratyuk [Sov. J. Nucl. Phys. 38, 198 (1984)] to extract the form factors fromthe plus component of the current, eliminates contributions from pair diagrams or zero modes, which if notevaluated properly cause the violation of the rotational symmetry. We address this problem in an analytical andcovariant model of a spin-1 composite particle. 2004 artículo científico 0103-9733 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=46434546 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=464 Brazilian Journal of Physics application/pdf Sociedade Brasileira de Física Brazilian Journal of Physics (Brasil) Num.3A Vol.34
