- Search for supersymmetry at the LHC P. G. Mercadante Física, Astronomía y Matemáticas It is generally accepted that the LHC is the accelerator facility at which weak scale supersymmetry will eitherbe discovered or definitely excluded. I give a brief introduction to weak scale supersymmetry presenting thegeneral argument that limit the supersymmetrical spectrum to be below TeV energies. We will see that theLHC is able to search for supersymmetry in several of its realization far above the expected spectrum masses. However, in the last section we will see some well motivated scenarios where supersymmetric sparticles mightbe very heavy, thus beyond the LHC reach. Such scenarios deserve a more detailed study to push the LHCreach. 2004 artículo científico 0103-9733 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=46434720 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=464 Brazilian Journal of Physics application/pdf Sociedade Brasileira de Física Brazilian Journal of Physics (Brasil) Num.4A Vol.34
