contents A Theoretical Study on e-CO Elastic Collision Using the Configuration Interaction Method to Describe the Target M. Graças R. Martins A. M. Maniero L. E. Machado J. David M. Vianna Física, Astronomía y Matemáticas It is presented a theoretical study on electron -CO collisions in the (5-20) eV energy range. Specifically, elasticdifferential cross sections (DCS) are calculated using the configuration interaction (CI) method to describethe target. Static and exchange contributions to the interaction potential are obtained exactly from a CI wavefunction with single and double excitations. The DCS are obtained using the Schwinger variational iterativemethod (SVIM). It is observed that the discrepancies between Hartree-Fock and CI results are more significantfor low energies and small angles. 2005 artículo científico 0103-9733 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=46435606 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=464 Brazilian Journal of Physics application/pdf Sociedade Brasileira de Física Brazilian Journal of Physics (Brasil) Num.4A Vol.35
