contents On Some Aspects of Gravitomagnetism in Scalar-Tensor Theories of Gravity A. Barros V. B. Bezerra C. Romero Física, Astronomía y Matemáticas We discuss the gravitomagnetism in the context of scalar-tensor theories of gravity. We obtain the equation ofmotion of a particle in terms of gravitoelectric and gravitomagnetic fields. We discuss the gravitomagnetic timedelay and the Lense-Thirring effect in the context of scalar-tensor theories of gravity. In the particular case ofBrans-Dicke Theory, we compare the results obtained with those predicted by general relativity and show thatwithin the accuracy of experiments designed to measure these effects, both theories predict essentially the sameresults. 2005 artículo científico 0103-9733 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=46435711 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=464 Brazilian Journal of Physics application/pdf Sociedade Brasileira de Física Brazilian Journal of Physics (Brasil) Num.4B Vol.35
