  • Analysis of Er3+ Incorporation in SnO2 by Optical Investigation Evandro A. de Morais Luis V. A. Scalvi Márcio R. Martins Sidney J. L. Ribeiro Física, Astronomía y Matemáticas SnO2 Er3+ emission Photoluminescence spectra Er3+ emission in the wide bandgap matrix SnO2 is observed either through a direct Er ion excitation processas well as by an indirect process, through energy transfer in samples codoped with Yb3+ ions. Electron-holegeneration in the tin dioxide matrix is also used to promote rare-earth ion excitation. Photoluminescence spectraas function of temperature indicate a slight decrease in the emission intensity with temperature increase, yieldinglow activation energy, about 3.8meV, since the emission even at room temperature is rather considerable. 2006 artículo científico 0103-9733 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=46436310 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=464 Brazilian Journal of Physics application/pdf Sociedade Brasileira de Física Brazilian Journal of Physics (Brasil) Num.2A Vol.36
