contents Dynamics of Two Sliding Magnetic Surfaces R.A. Dias M. Rapini B.V. Costa Física, Astronomía y Matemáticas Monte Carlo Magnetic Friction Molecular Dynamic Sliding Nano Magnetic Surfaces We use Monte Carlo and Molecular Dynamics simulation to study a magnetic tip-sample interaction. Ourinterest is to understand the mechanism of heat dissipation when the forces involved in the system are magneticin essence. We consider a magnetic crystalline substrate composed of several layers interacting magneticallywith a tip. The set is put thermally in equilibrium at temperature T by using a numerical Monte Carlo technique.By using that configuration we study its dynamical evolution by integrating numerically the equations of motion. Our results suggests that the heat dissipation is closed related to the appearing of vortices in the sample. 2006 artículo científico 0103-9733 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=46436573 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=464 Brazilian Journal of Physics application/pdf Sociedade Brasileira de Física Brazilian Journal of Physics (Brasil) Num.3B Vol.36
