| contents | Effects of Nucleus Initialization on Event-by-Event Observables H.-J. Drescher B. Mattos Tavares T. Kodama Física, Astronomía y Matemáticas Elliptic flow Hydrodynamics Fluctuations in the initial conditions In this work we present a study of the influence of nucleus initializations on the event-by-event elliptic flowcoefficient, v2. In most Monte-Carlo models, the initial positions of the nucleons in a nucleus are completelyuncorrelated, which can lead to very high density regions. In a simple, yet more realistic model where overlappingof the nucleons is avoided, fluctuations in the initial conditions are reduced. However, v2 distributions arenot very sensitive to the initialization choice. 2007 artículo científico 0103-9733 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=46437114 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=464 Brazilian Journal of Physics application/pdf Sociedade Brasileira de Física Brazilian Journal of Physics (Brasil) Num.1A Vol.37 |
