contents Neutrino Signals from Galactic Binaries Hugo R. Christiansen Física, Astronomía y Matemáticas Astro neutrinos Galactic sources We analyze the possible origin of high-energy neutrinos coming from galactic sources. A model is proposedfor neutrino hadroproduction in binary systems. Our results show that neutrino observatories like IceCube canestablish whether TeV neutrinos and gamma rays emitted by microquasars are the decay products of pions. Suchpions can be produced where the jet collides with the stellar wind of the companion star giving rise to hadronicinteractions. We improve previous predictions by considering energy dependent pion multiplicities, particularlysignificant at high energies, and the most recent values for the parameters of the system. We also discuss thegamma-ray flux associated with neutrino emission. 2007 artículo científico 0103-9733 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=46437431 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=464 Brazilian Journal of Physics application/pdf Sociedade Brasileira de Física Brazilian Journal of Physics (Brasil) Num.2B Vol.37
