contents Space-Time Characterization and Collective Motion at Intermediate Energies Giuseppe Verde Física, Astronomía y Matemáticas Two Imaging Collective motion Nuclear densities particle correlation functions Shape analyses of two-particle correlation functions are discussed. Two-proton imaging provides informationabout the volume, the relative contributions between fast and slow emitting sources and the profile of the twoparticlesource that can be directly compared to microscopic model simulations. In the case of correlationsbetween complex particles, the role played by collective motion and space-momentum correlations needs specialconsiderations. By means of a semi-quantitative Monte Carlo approach, deuteron-alpha correlation functionsmeasured in Xe+Au collisions at E/A=50 MeV are investigated. The comparison reveals the existence of aposition-relative momentum correlation that reduces the apparent source size and distorts the line-shape of thecorrelation function. The developed ideas show how intensity interferometry with complex particles is sensitivenot only to the geometry of the system but also to the interplay between collective and thermal motion. 2007 artículo científico 0103-9733 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=46437605 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=464 Brazilian Journal of Physics application/pdf Sociedade Brasileira de Física Brazilian Journal of Physics (Brasil) Num.3A Vol.37
