We have started to develop a set of teaching tools to support our courses onintelligent control. Low cost implementations of didactic systems are particularly important in developingcountries. In this paper we present the implementation of a minimal PD fuzzy four-rule algorithm in a lowcost8-bit microcontroller, using a fuzzy logic software development system. On this ground weconstructed a stand-alone fuzzy controller for a didactic liquid level system.
