Baidyk Graciela Velasco Ingeniería Accuracy Microfilters Micromachine tool A new technology for production of low-cost micromechanical devices is proposed. This technology is based onconcepts already known in conventional mechanics, used to produce a number of equipment of smaller sizesgeneration after generation. It is necessary to adapt each generation of equipment to the changes in physicalbehavior due to the decreasing scale. This technology is developed in the context of the microfactory creation. Themain requirements for microequipment development are discussed. Also, the micromachine tool prototypesbelonging to the first generation are developed and tested in the Laboratory of Micromechanics and Mechatronicsof the Center of Applied Research and Technological Development, UNAM. The equipment characterization isdone. The microfilter design and fabrication is described as an example of the practical application. 2004 artículo científico 1665-6423 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=47420108 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=474 Journal of Applied Research and Technology application/pdf Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México Journal of Applied Research and Technology (México) Num.1 Vol.2
