- An implicit controller for the steel level regulation in a vacuum-based continuous casting process Jesus González Trejo Miguel Angel Barrón Meza Ingeniería Level control Implicit control Discrete controller A nonlinear mathematical model of a vacuum-based continuous casting process and an implicit nonlinearcontroller are developed. The aim of the controller is the regulation of the mold and tundish molten steel levels. Inthe proposed approach, the output error is designed to be asymptotically stable, and the current values of thecontrol inputs are numerically determined using the Newton-Rapson iterative procedure. The dynamic performanceof the closed-loop system is analyzed using computer simulations. 2004 artículo científico 1665-6423 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=47420207 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=474 Journal of Applied Research and Technology application/pdf Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México Journal of Applied Research and Technology (México) Num.2 Vol.2
