Layer-by-layer electrostatic assembled films with tetrasulfonatedphthalocyaninatecuprate(II) anion, CuTSPc, displayed distinct electrocatalytic activity towards sulfiteand nitrite oxidation. In general, the films derived from the M(4-TRPyP) isomers are more effectivefor the oxidation of nitrite, whereas those containing the M(3-TRPyP) isomers are more efficient forthe oxidation of sulfite. The results demonstrated the influence of molecular geometry on the activesites of porphyrinic nanomaterials, enhancing the electron-transfer process in the M(3-TRPyP)derivative. This effect results from changes in the chemical environment around the active sites, induced by the contrasting molecular packing interactions with CuTSPc. 2005 artículo científico 1870-249X https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=47549216 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=475 Journal of the Mexican Chemical Society application/pdf Sociedad Química de México Journal of the Mexican Chemical Society (México) Num.2 Vol.49
