- (Chloromethyl)diphenylphosphine Oxide Complexes of Tin and Uranium Ramesh N. Kapoor Francisco Cervantes-Lee Keith H. Pannell Multidisciplinaria (Ciencias Naturales y Exactas) Tin Uranium complexes stoichiometry (Chloromethyl)diphenyl phosphine oxide The reactions between (chloromethyl)diphenylphosphineoxide, ClCH2P(O)Ph2 (L) and Me2SnCl2, Ph2SnCl2, Ph3SnCl andUO2(NO3)2 form complexes 1, 2, 3 and 4 respectively. The organotincomplexes 1, 2, 3, exhibit a 1:1 ligand metal stoichiometry while theuranyl nitrate (4) complex is a 2:1 complex. The complexes havebeen characterized by 13C, 119Sn and 31P NMR spectroscopy and theirsingle crystal X-ray structures have also been determined. The chlorineatom of the (chloromethyl)diphenylphosphine oxide does notdirectly interact either intramolecularly or intermolecularly witheither the uranium or tin center as determined by the internuclear distancesbeing greater than the sum of their respective Van der Waalsradii. However, in 1 and 4 there are clear dipolar interactions thatresult in conformational and molecular alignments due to the presenceof the CH2Cl group. 2007 artículo científico 1870-249X https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=47551214 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=475 Journal of the Mexican Chemical Society application/pdf Sociedad Química de México Journal of the Mexican Chemical Society (México) Num.2 Vol.51
