- Secondary Metabolites from Mexican Species of the Tribe Senecioneae (Asteraceae) Ana Lidia Pérez Alfonso Romo de Vivar Amira Arciniegas José Luis Villaseñor Multidisciplinaria (Ciencias Naturales y Exactas) Senecio Packera Roldana Psacalium Senecioneae A revision of the Mexican species belonging to the tribeSenecioneae chemically studied so far, shows that the genera Senecioand Packera (subtribe Senecioninae), and the genera Barkleyanthus,Pittocaulon, Psacalium, and Telanthophora (subtribe Tussilagininae)contain pyrrolizidine alkaloids (PAs) and eremophilane derivatives astheir main secondary metabolites. However, from Roldana andRobinsonecio (subtribe Tussilagininae) no PAs have been isolated. Aspecial case is the genus Pseudogynoxys in which neither PAs noreremophilanes are reported. 2007 artículo científico 1870-249X https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=47551307 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=475 Journal of the Mexican Chemical Society application/pdf Sociedad Química de México Journal of the Mexican Chemical Society (México) Num.3 Vol.51
