  • Sujeto e hipermodernidad Jacques Rhéaume Psicología Subject Hypermodernity The theoretical and sociohistorical bases of the actual transformations of modernity and the corresponding moving social status of the subject are explored. The hypermodern ideology puts a strong focus on the self-governing individual, neglecting social, collective and political issues compared to the dominant forces of the neoliberal economy. A clinical sociology approach, using participative methods in groups, is a strong way to raise critical consciousness and real empowerment.
