- HOMOPHOBIA IN AN INTERCULTURAL CONTEXT David William Foster Lengua y Literatura Homophobia differencce queer theory The need to distinguish differences within queer theory leads to the study of the relativity of such concepts as those of sex, gender, desire, and sexual acts. However, this effort on which analysis depends has not been geared toward the concept of homophobia. The purpose of this paper is to propose strategic parameters for conceptualizing homophobia in order to enable fundamental analytical differences.
