The authors characterized six production systems in the valley, and found that the areaswith the least productive farming systems were most likely to suffer damage to cultural artifacts. Such a consideration of livelihood activities in the protection of heritage sites is an important innovation that should be incorporated into other such projects, as well as into the very laws that regulate the designation and protection of heritage sites. 2010 artículo científico 0120-3053 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=479548753006 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=4795 Apuntes del Cenes application/pdf Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia Apuntes del Cenes (Colombia) Num.50 Vol.XXIX
