  • O“c del zooplancton, crustaceos decapodos y anfipodos de laguna de terminos, campeche (mexico), con referencias a fuentes de alimentación y posición trofica Guadalupe de la Lanza Andrea Raz Guzman Ciencias de la Tierra Zooplankton, Perzaeus setijhzfs, P. duoramnz, Xiphopenaeus kroyeti, Callinectes sapidus,Dyspanopeus texanus, Palaernortetes spp., Hippolyte spp. and amphipods were isotopicallycharacterized to identify the food sources they use and their relative trophic position, as well as toestablish a relationship between the isotopic data and the isotopic “memo@‘. the isotopicconvergence and the complexity of trophic chains. The 6 ‘% values of the animals were comparedto those of the submerged vegetation, detritus and sediment of each locality. The range of 6 13Cvalues of -7.2 to -24.20/00 indicates that consumers take advantage of sources of organic carbonof a diverse isotopic nature. The isotopic differencebehveen the lager consumers, P. setiferus, P.drrorarum, X. kroyeri, C. sapidus and D. teTc1nus, and the primaty producers indicates that thefirst occupy a high trophic leve1 within their communities. There is a relationship between themigration of P. setifems juveniles from the northeast (CTL = 11.5 mm) to íhe southwest(CTL = 22.5 mm) of the lagoon, and the variation in isotopic composition from heavier (-8.90/00)to lighter (-24.20/00) 6 13C values. Three cases are presented to explain the variety of 6 13Cvalues of P. setifenrs. In general, the isotopic composition of the above-mentioned speciescharacterized two isotopically different areas: one to the northeast of the system with heaviervalues of -6.4 to -17.20/00 and another to the west, southwest and South with lighter values of-15.3 to -24.20/00. 1993 artículo científico 0185-3880 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=48019208 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=480 Ciencias Marinas application/pdf Universidad Autónoma de Baja California Ciencias Marinas (México) Num.2 Vol.19
