  • Alteraciones en la estructura de la comunidad del macrobióticos en bahía falsa, México, relacionadas con el cultivo de crassastrea gigas. Guillermo Villarreal Ciencias de la Tierra macrobenthos San Quintín Bay Crassostrea gigas The changes in macrobenthic communities in Bahía Falsa, Baja California, induced by an oysterculture are evaluated, in order to understand the actual status of the ecological system and provide thebasis for a future management in the area. The study was conducted between 1987 and 1990 in a15-point grid covering the lagoon. Data obtained were processed for community ordination by a principalcomponents method, and a biological value index was also obtained. The results indicate that thecommunity, in general, and the Zostera marina meadow, in particular, do not show symptoms of alterationand that the annelid community composition is similar to that reported 3 and 21 years ago. Onlythe area directly associated with the culture installations shows marked eutrophication and a communitycharacteristic of organically polluted areas. 1995 artículo científico 0185-3880 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=48021402 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=480 Ciencias Marinas application/pdf Universidad Autónoma de Baja California Ciencias Marinas (México) Num.4 Vol.21
