West Ciencias de la Tierra Mexico mangroves distribution marine algae Bostrychia calliptera Bostrychia cakptera (Montagne) Montagne, collected from the mangroves of Sontecomapan Lagoon(Veracruz, Mexico), is a new record for the central Gulf of Mexico. Bost&zia calliptera differsfrom its closest ally, Bostrychia pinnata J. Tanaka et Chihara, in the presente of axial cortication andinterna1 hyphae in the former and their absence in the latter.
