GIRELLI Ingeniería photography Vulnerability analysis hydroelectric power plant The growing construction of hydroelectric power plants, associated to environmental impacts, symbolic and material losses has been of interest in studies with different theoretical and methodological references. With a qualitative approach, this study analyzed vulnerabilities of families in a community affected by the hydroelectric plant deployment process, using photography. This methodological resource contributed to the unveiling of everyday situations, showing that the changes in community life resulting from flooding began to have visibility from the angle of a photographic camera, which, although having difficulties as background, chose as a focus the (im)possibilities of resistance and creation against the context.
