contents The dryng of red oak at vacuum pressure Agustín Pérez Ricardez Juan Rivera Suárez Luis Aviña Berumen Agrociencias red oak diffusion wood drying vacuum pressure In this work we present a mathematical model to predict the red oak wood vacuum drying kinetics. The mathematical model considers molecular diffusion and two-dimensional flow of humidity. Theexperimental work was carried out in controlled conditions of temperature and relative humidity toestimate the effective diffusion coefficient and moisture content in the wood. An “Arrhenius” typeexpression was employed for temperature dependence of diffusion coefficient. 2005 artículo científico 0717-3644 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=48570103 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=485 Maderas.
