| contents | Lattice-Boltzmann method applied to the pattern formation on periodic surface structures generated by multiline nanosecond laser Frank Rodolfo Fonseca-Fonseca José Edgar Alfonso-Orjuela Darío Fernando Andrade Ingeniería non Lattice Keywords ideal fluids Laser Ablation We simulated the pattern formation on silicon surfaces. For thi s purpose, we used Lattice-Boltzmann method assuming two non-id eal interacting fluids using a lattice velocity D2Q9. The experimen t was carried out with a multiline (1064, 532 and 355 nm) Nd: Y AG pulsed laser that employs an energy range from 310 to 3100 J on a surface p-type monocrystalline silicon oriented in the direc tion [111]. The whole system was subjected to argon gas blowing which is ke y in pattern formation. Computer simulation reproduces the over all behavior of the experimental geometric patterns expressed in ob lique parallel ripples quite well. 2014 artículo científico 0012-7353 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=49632363014 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=496 Dyna application/pdf Universidad Nacional de Colombia Dyna (Colombia) Num.187 Vol.81 |
