contents Airport terminal choice model Claudia Helena Muñoz-Hoyos Ivan Sarmiento-Ordosgoitía Jorge Eliécer Córdoba-Maquilón Ingeniería Keywords airports air transport Discrete choice model Most studies about air travel have dealt with individual issues such as fares, delays and other variables inherent in this mod e of transportation, as well as why travelers chose the air mode aga inst other modes, but little has been done to model how a trave ler chooses an airport between two available options in a big city. Currently a passenger from the city of Medellin - Colombia to s ome domestic destinations, has the option of traveling by eithe r of the two airports, Jose Maria Cordov a (JMC) or Enrique Olaya Herrera (EOH). This research presents the results of a stated preferen ce survey in a discrete choice experiment, and based on this, a model by destination is obtained; for each one of these models multinomi al logit and mixed logit were applied, and evaluated, for each model multino mial logit was chosen as the best. 2014 artículo científico 0012-7353 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=49632363019 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=496 Dyna application/pdf Universidad Nacional de Colombia Dyna (Colombia) Num.187 Vol.81
