contents A viable wireless PC assisted alternative to studies of vectorcardiography Juan Carlos Estrada-Gutiérrez Alfonso Hernández-Sámano Ernesto Edgar Mazón-Valadez José Ávila-Paz Arturo González-Vega Juan Alberto Leyva-Cruz Mario Eduardo Cano-González Ingeniería audio cardiac Wireless modulation The development of an analog device to wirelessly modulate and record twelve cardiac leads, PC assisted is reported. The syste m, which has been developed using low cost components, contains only one signal conditioning stage and one stage for amplitude modulati on with FM transmission/reception. Also it contains an interface to sel ect the cardiac leads remotely, which is based in the transmiss ion/decoding of audible dual frequency tones. The device has been tested on a group of volunteers simultaneously using a registered tradema rk electrocardiograph, to assess the performance of the new device . Furthermore, the experimental results indicate that the devic e is a tool suitable to conduct studies of vectorcardiography with maximum uncertainties of 20 % in the cardiac axis orientation measurement. 2015 artículo científico 0012-7353 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=49635366016 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=496 Dyna application/pdf Universidad Nacional de Colombia Dyna (Colombia) Num.189 Vol.82
