Tensor theory is based on the dyadic product between voltage and current instantaneous vectors; this defini tion allows us to represent the phenomena of power quality produced by load s operation, through the deformation of a cube and the trajecto ry of one of its three-dimensional vectors. This new way of characterizat ion could help researchers to construct better models of three- phase loads, or to achieve a better monitoring and machines diagnosis. Resul ts are reached by implementing simulations in MATLAB® and endor sed with experimental measurements. 2015 artículo científico 0012-7353 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=49640676002 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=496 Dyna application/pdf Universidad Nacional de Colombia Dyna (Colombia) Num.192 Vol.82
