contents Methodology for relative location of voltage sag source using voltage measurements only Jairo Blanco-Solano Johann F. Petit-Suárez Gabriel Ordóñez-Plata Ingeniería voltage sags network faults relative location Power quality monitoring po sitive sequence voltage This paper presents a methodology for the relative location of voltage sags source based on voltage measurements only. Network faults are the most frequent disturbances in the electrical systems and in turn are the causes that generate most voltage sags. Thus, the proposed algorithm considers only voltage sags by network faults, and a minimum of three voltage meters is required. Power quality can be evaluated automatically using the characte rizing and extracting informati on from voltage records. The positive sequence voltages are the descriptors used to determine the relative location of the voltage sags cau ses, and the methodology is applied to a simulation where its e ffectiveness is verified. Matlab was used for va lidating this methodology, and voltage records of simulated volt age sags were generated in ATP -EMTP. 2015 artículo científico 0012-7353 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=49640676011 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=496 Dyna application/pdf Universidad Nacional de Colombia Dyna (Colombia) Num.192 Vol.82
