contents An epidemiological approach to assess risk factors and current distortion incidence on distribution networks Miguel Fernando Romero Luis Eduardo Gallego Fabio Andrés Pavas Ingeniería risk factors Power Quality (PQ) relative risk (RR) harmonic distortion A methodology that is based on e pidemiological a nalysis to asse ss risk factors and harmonic dist ortion incidence rate in a dis tribution network is proposed in this paper. The methodology analyzes the current harmonics emission risk at the PCC due to the connecti on of disturbing loads. These loads are modeled, and multiple loads c onnection scenarios are simulated using Monte Carlo Algorithms. From the simulation results, potential ris k factors for critical harmoni cs indicators are identified, leading to a classification of th e scenarios into groups of exposed or unexposed to ri sk factors. Finally, the in cidence rate of harmonics is c alculated for each load connectio n scenario and the risk of critical harmonics scenarios due to the exposure to risk factors is estimated. 2015 artículo científico 0012-7353 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=49640676012 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=496 Dyna application/pdf Universidad Nacional de Colombia Dyna (Colombia) Num.192 Vol.82
