Different harmonic studies a nalyze their impact on the grids based on di fferent types of harmonic models . The most used model is the constant current source. Measurements have shown that the harmonic currents emitted by e lectronic devices depend on the circuit topology and the existi ng supply voltage distortion. This paper quantifies the impact of supply voltage distortion on the harmo nic current emission of individu al devices and the summation of multiple devices. After a classification of the commonly used circuit topologies, a time-domain model is developed for each of them. Then the in dividual and combined impact of voltage harmonics on the harmonic curren t emission of the modeled devices is analyzed based on simulati ons. Finally the impact of voltage distortion on the summation of mu ltiple devices is analyzed and the accuracy of constant current source models is evaluated. 2015 artículo científico 0012-7353 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=49640676017 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=496 Dyna application/pdf Universidad Nacional de Colombia Dyna (Colombia) Num.192 Vol.82
