contents Time-varying harmonic analysis of electric power systems with wind farms, by employing the possibility theory Andrés Arturo Romero-Quete Gastón Orlando Suvire Humberto Cassiano Zini Giuseppe Rattá Ingeniería uncertainty power system wind turbine Full power converter harmoni c distortion This paper focuses on the anal ysis of the connection of wind fa rms to the electric power system and their impact on the harmon ic load- flow. A possibilistic harmonic load-flow methodology, previousl y developed by the authors, allows for uncertainties related to linear and nonlinear load variations to be modeled. Moreover, it is well k nown that some types of wind tur bines also produce harmonics, i n fact, time- varying harmonics. Th e purpose of this paper is to present an i mprovement of the former method, in order to include the uncert ainties due to the wind speed variations as an input related with power gen erated by the turbines. Simulatio ns to test the proposal are pe rformed in the IEEE 14-bus standard test system for harmonic analysis, connect ing to the network a wind farm composed by ten Full Power Conve rter (FPC) type wind turbines. Results obtained show that uncertaint y in the wind speed has a considerable effect on the uncertaint ies associated with the computed harmoni c voltage magnitudes. 2015 artículo científico 0012-7353 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=49640676021 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=496 Dyna application/pdf Universidad Nacional de Colombia Dyna (Colombia) Num.192 Vol.82
