  • Agile human centered methodologies to develop educational software Carina S. González-González Pedro Toledo-Delgado Vanesa Muñoz-Cruz Ingeniería UCD UXD SCRUM Usability Prototyping This paper presents a methodological proposal that is based on powerful current approaches to the software development process : agile methodologies (SCRUM, Lean UX), user-centered design (UCD) and user experience design (UXD). Specifically , we have adapted som e of the characteristics of the agile methodologies, which have a llowed us to produce useful prototypes that are focused on the users while receiving constant feedback fro m them. The main goal of the pro posed methodology is to identify usability problems and UX fact ors in the early stages of educational software development. Furthermo re, we have also applied and valid ated the proposal during the framework development of an educational s oftware project for users with s pecial educational needs. A specific case taking into account k ey usability issues to support students with s pecial education needs (SEN) i s presented. In conclusion, we state that the proposed methodol ogy could be a good design process philosophy to follow in the developmen t of software projects in general, and in educational projects in particular. 2015 artículo científico 0012-7353 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=49642141024 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=496 Dyna application/pdf Universidad Nacional de Colombia Dyna (Colombia) Num.193 Vol.82
