The amount of electronic component s has been minimized in order to reduce production costs. Additional tests were undertaken t o determine the ideal tips for soldering, and the adaptations nec essary to guarantee self-regulation using a nickel foil shield (due to its low curie temperature) are suggested . The new device contains a res onant inverter able to generate alternating magnetic fields of 100 kHz at the center of an 18-turn coil; the inverter is controlled only using an astable oscillator circuit. The paper examines criteri a to select suitable soldering-tips by experimentally determining their equivalent r esistance heating it within the resonant inverter or well, anot her one by using a rapid magnetic test . The system represe nts a good tool, suita ble for the manufacture of devel opment boards or electronic tas ks. 2016 artículo científico 0012-7353 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=49645153021 https://www.redalyc.org/journal/496/49645153021/ https://www.redalyc.org/journal/496/49645153021/html/ https://www.redalyc.org/journal/496/49645153021/49645153021.epub https://www.redalyc.org/journal/496/49645153021/movil en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=496 Dyna application/pdf Universidad Nacional de Colombia Dyna (Colombia) Num.196 Vol.83
