  • Interference test interpretation in naturally fractured reservoirs Freddy Humberto Escobar Carlos Andrés Torregrosa Guiber Olaya-Marín Ingeniería interference storativity ratio interporosity flow parameter Naturally fractured reservoir The naturally fractured reservoir characterization is crucial because it can help to predict the flow pattern of fluids, and the storativity ratio of the fractures and to understand whether two or more wells have communication, among others. This paper presents a practical methodology for interpreting interference tests in naturally fractured reservoirs using characteristic points found on the pressure derivative curve. These kinds of tests describe a system that consists of a producing well and an observation well separated by a distance (r). Using characteristic points and features found on the pressure and pressure derivative log-log plot, Analytical expressions were developed from the characteristic points of the pressure and pressure derivative log-log plot to determine the interporosity flow parameter ( ( ) and the storativity ratio of the fractures ( ( ). Finally, examples are used to successfully verify the expressions developed so that the naturally-fractured parameters were reproduced with good accuracy. 2020 artículo científico 0012-7353 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=49666177014 https://www.redalyc.org/journal/496/49666177014/ https://www.redalyc.org/journal/496/49666177014/html/ https://www.redalyc.org/journal/496/49666177014/49666177014.epub https://www.redalyc.org/journal/496/49666177014/movil 10.15446/dyna.v87n214.82733 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=496 Dyna application/pdf Universidad Nacional de Colombia Dyna (Colombia) Num.214 Vol.87
