contents Effective team management in energy transition projects: a perspective on critical success factors. Case of the mining-energy sector in Colombia Yaqueline Garzón-Rodríguez Yeny Andrea Niño-Villamizar Ingeniería barriers energy sector Colombian mining Project management energy transition (ET) Energy transition (ET) projects are becoming increasingly important worldwide as a primary strategy to protect for the environment and ensure energy security. Although the critical success factors (CSF) in the effective management of project teams are identified as a fundamental aspect to achieve their objectives, the literature reports the need to expand the empirical basis, and as far as is known, in Colombia there is no evidence in this regard. Therefore, this paper establishes in an exploratory way, from the perspective of experts in the Colombian mining-energy sector, how to manage CSF barriers, and challenges in ET project teams. The results highlight the leadership and support of top management as CSF; the lack of sector policies to mitigate the staff turnover barrier; and the challenge of establishing strategic alliances with the education sector and leading organizations in conventional energy. 2023 artículo científico 0012-7353 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=49677771016 https://www.redalyc.org/journal/496/49677771016/ https://www.redalyc.org/journal/496/49677771016/html/ https://www.redalyc.org/journal/496/49677771016/49677771016.epub https://www.redalyc.org/journal/496/49677771016/movil https://doi.org/10.15446/dyna.v90n228.108595 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=496 Dyna application/pdf Universidad Nacional de Colombia Dyna (Colombia) Num.228 Vol.90
