- ESTUDIO CORRELACIONAL ENTRE EL CAPITAL SOCIAL Y LA INSERCIÓN SOCIAL DE LA POBLACIÓN DESPLAZADA RESIDENTE EN LA CIUDAD DE BARRANQUILLA Y MUNICIPIOS ALEDAÑOS YESIDETH MARÍA DE LA HOZ ECHEVERRÍA CAMILO MADARIAGA OROZCO MARCOS CERVANTES Psicología Social capital Social capital Social insertion Social insertion Social networks and Displaced people This research paper establishes the relation between the social capital and social insertion of the displaced population. 73 displaced people, distributed as follows: 61 women and 12 men living in Barranquilla and surrounding municipalities. The information was processed in the SPSS Version 18. In order to establish the correlation between social capital and insertion, the Pearson correlation coefficient was applied. The social capital showed that the displaced people or refugees (61,6 %) and other distrusting people (64,3 %) have confidence in their relatives and people nearby in the way that they have supportive ties with the community to cooperate in the achievement of common targets actively (52,1 %). As a result, the social networks showed that the displaced people come to their relatives, friends and neighbors mainly to obtain help (82 %). The Pearson correlation coefficient showed a significant interrelation between social capital and social insertion (r=0,299; p <0,05). In other words, a greatest social capital is the possibility of social insertion of the displaced population. 2013 artículo científico 0124-0137 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=497552364012 es http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=4975 Psicogente application/pdf Universidad Simón Bolívar Psicogente (Colombia) Num.30 Vol.16
