Method : This is a qualitative approach that uses interviews with 10 clients in pre - operative, with a scrip t containing open and closed questions that allowed profiling of the same. Results : Got the following categories of analysis: The client does not recognize the nursing actions; the client knows the nursing actions for specific techniques, the need to adop t the attitude information and the establishment of communication and relationship with the client, and the need for nursing to make present.
