- SÍNDROME DE BURNOUT EM PROFISSIONAIS DE ENFERMAGEM DO SERVIÇO DE ATENDIMENTO MÓVEL DE URGÊNCIA Márcia Astrês Fernandes Fábbio Kleyton de Sousa Jairo Silva dos Santos Joiciane de Andrade Rodrigues Maria Helena Palucci Marziale Medicina Burnout Nursing Urgency Emergency Objective : The objective is to identify the presence of burnout syndrome in nursi ng professionals from SAMU in Teresina, Piauí. Methods : This study is a quantitative and descriptive one, where the subjects were 17 Nurses and 33 Assistants/Nursing Technicians. In this study, the methods utilized were the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) and a socio - demographic questionnaire. Results : The results indicate that the majority of professionals show low to moderate degrees of symptoms of burnout, yet not necessarily showing presence of the disease.
